Our Social Skills & Language summer camp sessions are structured similar to a classroom where your children can interact and engage with other kids.
The social skills instruction, modeling, and practice are incorporated into our fun activities in that setting.
Our group sessions follow a structured routine (using visual supports as necessary).
SUPER FUN JUNE CAMP
Our June group had a blast with some water play on the last day of camp!
The sessions are language/communication-based and will also include physical/motor components…
encompassing movement and sensory experiences.
Activities may also include music and art!
Each 2 hour camp session will work on key concepts such as following group directions, sharing play with one another, developing imaginative play, and practicing flexibility with communication and schedules.
…and we certainly hope you and your child will develop lasting friendships too!
* While mini-summer camp groups are a great way to practice socializing using communication while working on physical and fine motor development, and are led by a Speech-Language Pathologist, they are not a substitute for individualized therapy
