FAQs

How old does my child have to be to receive services?

Early Intervention is key! We can start helping children right from birth if needed but it’s of utmost importance to begin this process before your child is 3 yrs old. Different children have different needs though. So always getting a professional opinion is what counts.

How do I know if my child might need help?

You may think that only children with obvious physical and cognitive needs would benefit from developmental therapies. But even children without a true diagnosis may need some assistance.

Children who are not making noises early on (even as young as 6 mos) may need some assistance

Infants having difficulty feeding or even toddlers who have trouble moving to an open cup or solid foods may need some evaluation

Children who may be considered clumsy or walk on their toes may need to be evaluated.

How long does it take for my child to get better?

As a mom myself, that is certainly the stand-out question. Developmental therapies are not a magic wand and do require consistency over time to have an impact. However, it is difficult to predict how long it will take, but our hope is that by receiving interventions early your child can meet his potential before impacting early elementary years and relationships to come.
